In order to support students belonging to socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and to ensure equitable access to academic resources and opportunities, the Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) Cell is hereby constituted for the academic year.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To identify students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and extend necessary support.
  • To facilitate access to scholarships, financial aid, and government welfare schemes.
  • To provide academic support such as mentoring, remedial classes, and guidance.
  • To ensure equal opportunities in academic and extracurricular activities.
  • To organize awareness programs on financial assistance, career guidance and skill development.
  • To address issues faced by disadvantaged students and recommend appropriate measures.
  • To coordinate with institutional committees and external agencies for student welfare initiatives.
  • To maintain records of beneficiaries and activities conducted.
  • To submit periodic reports to the Principal on initiatives and outcomes.
