Institutions Innovation Council (IIC)

In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is hereby constituted to systematically foster the culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem within the institution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students and faculty.
• To organize innovation-related activities such as idea competitions, hackathons, workshops, and seminars.
• To encourage development of innovative projects, prototypes and start-up ideas.
• To collaborate with industries, incubation centers, and innovation agencies.
• To facilitate intellectual property rights (IPR) awareness and support patent filing activities.
• To implement the action plan prescribed by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC).
• To mentor students in transforming ideas into viable products or start-ups.
• To maintain records of innovation activities and submit reports to MIC and the Principal.
• To create a supportive ecosystem for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the institution.
