1. Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) Programs

To enhance employability and prepare students for the pharmaceutical and healthcare job market, the Training and Placement Cell conducts structured CRT programs, including:

  • Aptitude and Reasoning Training: Focused sessions on quantitative aptitude, verbal reasoning, and analytical skills.

  • Soft Skills Development: Training on communication skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, and public speaking.

  • Pharmacy-Specific Technical Training: Modules on regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, clinical research, and industrial pharmacy practices.

  • Mock Interviews and Group Discussions: Regular practice sessions to build confidence and prepare students for real placement scenarios.

 

2. Campus Placement Drives

  • Collaborating with leading pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, CROs, and healthcare firms for on-campus and pooled placement drives.

  • Organizing company-specific pre-placement talks and orientation sessions.

  • Maintaining student placement records and company feedback for continuous improvement.

 

3. Industrial Training and Internships

  • Facilitating internships in pharma industries, hospitals, and research organizations.

  • Coordinating mini-projects and practical exposure to real-time challenges in pharmacy practice.

  • Organizing industrial and hospital visits for experiential learning.

 

4. Career Guidance and Personality Development

  • Hosting expert talks, alumni interactions, and panel discussions with industry professionals.

  • Conducting resume building workshops, career planning sessions, and personal branding guidance.

  • Encouraging students participation in pharma hackathons, innovation challenges, and case study competitions.

 

5. Entrepreneurship Development

  • Organizing Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps (EACs), pharma startup workshops, and idea pitching competitions.

  • Collaborations with pharmacy-based incubators and innovation centres.

  • Inviting entrepreneurs from pharma and healthcare sectors to inspire students.

 

6. Higher Education Support

  • Counseling for M.Pharm, Pharm.D (PB), MBA (Healthcare), MPH, and Ph.D. admissions in India and abroad.

  • Providing guidance on university selection, scholarships, applications, and visa processes.

  • Conducting webinars and alumni talks on academic life post-graduation.

 

7. Competitive Exam Preparation

  • Coaching and support for GPAT, PGECET, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, and other relevant entrance exams.

  • Providing study materials, mock tests, and counselling for exam strategies and planning.

 

8. Industry–Institute Collaboration

  • Signing MoUs with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research organizations.

  • Organizing conclaves, seminars, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) to align with industry trends.

  • Facilitating collaborative research and training projects.

 

9. Alumni Interaction and Mentorship

  • Conducting a structured alumni mentorship program to provide guidance for placements, higher studies, and career progression.

10. Global Opportunities and Awareness

  • Sharing updates on global research fellowships, internships, and educational opportunities.

  • Encouraging participation in international pharma conferences, symposiums, and cultural exchanges.
