Infrastructure

We have well equipped laboratories in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Anatomy Physiology & Health education, Pharmaceutical analysis, Pharmacognosy, Biotechnology and Microbiology for the I, II & III year B.Pharm courses. As our honorable chairman showing interest and kind enough towards establishment of Central analytical and Machine lab very soon with sophisticated equipments in this college. Spacious laboratories were built as per the norms of Pharmacy council of India.

Research and Development

Apart from the academics, our students participated in various national symposia and presented papers. Our students B.Prathyusha & V.Sai Vasanthi of II B.Pharm have presented a poster entitled Stemcell Therapy in Neuropathic Pain at Chemfusion-08, a national level symposium conducted by JNTUA, Ananthapur in 2008. Some of our faculty filed applications for the registration of Ph.D programmes in JNTUH which are under process. This year we are planning for Industrial tour to visit different pharmaceutical industries in out of Hyderabad.

Recently, we have organized Infoquest-2009 that has been an all time memory for its magnificence and gaiety on the campus. We received around 60 papers – 20 for oral presentations and the remaining for poster presentations – from 15 pharmacy colleges in and around Hyderabad, in response to our call for article presentations and poster presentations. The students of Bhaskar Pharmacy College have won recognition for displaying commendable performance in the competition and bagged the prizes as well as appreciations from the judges.
